Founded in 2005, SIMS is a DG Shipping–approved training institute affiliated to the Indian Maritime University, Chennai — preparing cadets for careers in the merchant navy with rigorous, certified programmes and a strong record of placements with leading shipping companies.
A 3-semester Diploma in Nautical Science — two semesters on-campus, one at sea. Intake of 40 cadets.
